The accounting firm of John E. Wilson, Ltd. was formed in January 1980 when the partnership of Wilson and Gills was dissolved. Prior to the formation of Wilson and Gills in 1977, Mr. Wilson had been practicing as a sole practitioner since 1957. Mr. Wilson continued to operate with the majority of the staff that was working for Wilson and Gills. John E. Wilson, Ltd. is committed to serving the needs of clients who conduct private profit-oriented businesses and who operate non-profit organizations. Many of our clients have established business all over the United States. The client list ranges from governmental organizations, manufacturers, retailers, and service corporations to real estate agencies, and professional practitioners. The firm's philosophy is one of concern for the welfare of its clients. Accordingly, we strive to become familiar with the business of each client from all major aspects-not just from the standpoint of the accounting functions. As our clients have grown and expanded, John E. Wilson, Ltd. has grown and expanded to render comprehensive service whenever and wherever needed. Because we have adopted this hands on philosophy we have expanded our role beyond the traditional accountant and auditor.
